This beautiful 1,354 acres of meadowlands, woodlands, hills and escarpments provides hill country vistas between Leander and Liberty Hill and offers park users the opportunity to explore, learn, camp, picnic, hike, bike, ride their horses, nature watch or just relax outside. The South Fork of the San Gabriel River meanders through the northeastern portion of the park. The river and park can be accessed and enjoyed along 20 miles of hiking and equestrian trails. You are likely to see some of the most elusive wildlife such as porcupine and coyotes, as well as the common whitetail deer. River Ranch is also home to large and magnificent Live Oak trees, estimated to be over 500 years old.
Park Entry/Getting Here

There is only one road into and out of the park (Reveille Way). All participants who sign up will be put on a list that the park will have and use that list to allow you to pass through the entrance at head quarters. As a backup, please have a screenshot of your registration or your email registration ready in order to allow a quick flow through the front gate.
All spectators will have to pay the day use fee to enter the park. The park takes both cash and card.

Cookies, PBJ sandwiches, Oranges, Bananas, Watermelons, Pickles, Pickle Juice, , Fruit Snacks, Pringles, Coke, Mt. Dew, Ginger Ale, Tailwind & Saltstick
Since this event will have freeing temperature, we will also be providing, coffee, hot chocolate, ramen, grilled cheese, and quesadillas at the aid stations to help keep our participants fueled, warm and ready to get back out on the trails.
